Sam’s career started working with State Street as a Fund Accountant. This job taught him a lot about corporate finance, specifically calculating net asset values and processing complex transactions. From State Street, he moved to work for Arenus as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance. Here he was responsible for the entire department from the daily operation, to formulations and implementations of finances, and to strategic planning for the company’s future financial success. Following this position, he moved to Adcon as the Controller where he furthered this experience by applying policies and procedures, monitored assets, and communicated financial standings to the rest of the management team.
While experience is an important foundation for Sam, he is also a lifelong learner. He is constantly looking back at fundamental intelligence, but also enjoys looking for new and upcoming data. Sam’s Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance was obtained from Baker University (2011), and Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University (2018).
What lead him to create Full Cycle CFO was this lifelong journey for information tied to working with passionate and knowledgeable teams. What he enjoys most about his career is the entrepreneurial spirit seen within business owners. He hears excitement in his client’s voices every time he talks to them – even if they are having a stressful day. The future of Full Cycle CFO will come from his knowledge, the team’s diverse perspectives, and the drive of his clients.
