Sam’s career started working with State Street as a Fund Accountant. This job taught him a lot about corporate finance, specifically calculating net asset values and processing complex transactions. From State Street, he moved to work for Arenus as the Vice President of Accounting and Finance. Here he was responsible for the entire department from the daily operation, to formulations and implementations of finances, and to strategic planning for the company’s future financial success. Following this position, he moved to Adcon as the Controller where he furthered this experience by applying policies and procedures, monitored assets, and communicated financial standings to the rest of the management team.
While experience is an important foundation for Sam, he is also a lifelong learner. He is constantly looking back at fundamental intelligence, but also enjoys looking for new and upcoming data. Sam’s Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance was obtained from Baker University (2011), and Master of Business Administration from Colorado State University (2018).
What lead him to create Full Cycle CFO was this lifelong journey for information tied to working with passionate and knowledgeable teams. What he enjoys most about his career is the entrepreneurial spirit seen within business owners. He hears excitement in his client’s voices every time he talks to them – even if they are having a stressful day. The future of Full Cycle CFO will come from his knowledge, the team’s diverse perspectives, and the drive of his clients.
Deanna seeks out problems in businesses to solve them. She began her career as a government contractor, leading process improvements in contracts and then developing the contracts herself. Deanna was exposed to all areas of the business except the financial side, so she pursued her MBA through NYU Stern to gain financial exposure. Throughout her MBA she worked full time, and also set up a consulting business to help NYC small businesses achieve survival and growth. She is excited about the Colorado marketplace and loves helping Full Cycle’s clients to overcome their challenges, big and small.
Deanna has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University (2007) and has a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business (2017).
Deanna loves to make sense out of chaos, which is why she loves working with growing businesses. The opportunity to deal with a different challenge every day is her drive, along with the satisfaction of finding a resolution and delivering it to the client with a smile.
An accomplished accounting, finance and human resources professional, Maria has a long track record of helping small businesses and large organizations implement more-effective processes and strategies. She has worked across industries, delivering expertise in day-to-day operations, talent management and global systems improvement.
As Accounting Manager for a wholesaler/retailer serving commercial and industrial customers, Maria was responsible for collections, sales and tax filings, month-end duties, special projects and overseeing accounts receivable. She reported directly to the business' owner and worked closely with a CPA to produce financials.
Earlier in her career, Maria was Accounting and Administration Manager for a refrigeration and HVAC company, where she handled bookkeeping functions and managed staff, among many other responsibilities. She was also Controller for a technology manufacturer serving the government sector. Her prior roles include Owner of an independent bookkeeping and accounting practice, Controller at a manufacturing business and Controller and HR Manager for a payroll and payroll tax-processing company.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Chapman University and participates in numerous professional organizations and activities. She participates in continuing education to maintain her Certified Bookkeeper Designation from the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
Nadine started her career at a small business working with mostly in accounts payable and accounts receivable. She learned everything on the job and progressed to know the ins and outs of their accounting department. She also has a knack for problem solving and improving processes and put those skills to work. She found the work fulfilling and decided to go back to school to further seek this career.
Nadine is currently pursuing her Master of Accounting degree at Colorado State University, to be graduating in May 2021. She plans to use that degree to become a licensed CPA.
She chose to come to Full Cycle CFO because she also felt the desire to offer quality and honest work to clients, especially small businesses. Her work is timely, accurate, and thorough.
The importance of effective marketing became clear to Emily starting with her first job working retail in high school. Very quickly, she learned to utilize marketing strategies to grow customer satisfaction and business profitability because she understood successful marketing is more than one single department.
Emily has a deep understanding of building a brand from scratch, developing graphics, generating valuable content, creating social media posts, website expansion, constructing email campaigns, tapping into connections, and utilizing marketing strategies.
Emily has a Bachelor of Science degree from Baker University (2011) and has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado (2016).
At her core, Emily is a people-person. The core of marketing is accomplishing the same goal. This is where she finds her passion for marketing – it’s not about all the time in front of a computer, but it’s about communicating and connecting with our market.
